Sela Garza holds an M.Phil in Creating Writing from Trinity College Dublin. She is originally from the Bay Area in California, but received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Ireland. She has been writing since she first learned to wield a pen, having progressed from crayon on blank printer paper to [typed] longer works of both fiction and nonfiction.

Sela is working on a collection of short stories, as well as a post-apocalyptic novel about the horrors of climate change. She is passionate about the planet and the creatures that call Earth home. Currently, Sela works as a product education specialist for Wix.com, a website building platform. In her free-time, she enjoys reading, yoga, wire sculpting, interior design, and spending time with her two sweet dogs.
